What you will do


As an Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll contribute across the entire product lifecycle—from initial requirements and development to testing, release, and maintenance. You’ll collaborate with skilled colleagues and external partners to create innovative electromobility solutions that move us forward.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise in electronics design
* Collaborate with suppliers and partners in development work
* Contribute to product and advanced engineering projects
* Prepare and evaluate technical requirements and solutions
* Develop and execute test plans and schedules
* Support design optimization and continuous improvement
* Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Engage with external networks and academic collaborations


Who are you?


You’ll need to dream big to invigorate our way of working. Bring your fresh vision, enthusiasm, strong knowledge, and great communication skills to this role to develop next-gen technologies in a team environment. We want your problem-solving skills to energize the way we work and take us to another level.

You also bring:
* A Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, or similar
* 3+ years of experience in product development
* Knowledge of electromobility systems, EV components, power supply, and charging systems
* Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D)
* Experience with PCB design, EMI filter design, and V&V
* Supplier collaboration and project coordination experience
* Understanding of Volvo tools (e.g., KOLA, PIL, DVP) is a plus
* Fluent English, both spoken and written
* Strong decision-making, communication, and networking skills
A structured yet creative, solution-oriented mindset with a drive for results
