Kindergarten teacher (5 year olds)

Europaskolan Södermalm is a two-stream F–9 school with a strong international profile, proudly authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) since 2007. We are currently looking for a full time Kindergarten teacher for a group of 20 5 year olds

The position is for one or two academic years (until June 2026 or 2027) with the possibility of an extension.

The language of instruction is English.

Your duties will be as follows:

• You will be working in an international setting with the IB PYP curriculum by planning and implementing Units of Inquiry that are relevant and motivating for our students.
• You will be collaborating often with the other PYP teachers within the organization on how best to design and implement our curriculum.
• You will be planning and evaluating lessons on a daily basis.
• You will be designing assessment tasks for students and provding feedback to students on all assigned tasks.
• You will be attending two PYP team meetings per week where student care and school development are on the agenda.
• You are expected to maintain the classrooms you teach in and hold the learning environment to a high standard.
• You will be expected to build and maintain positive working relationships with all of your students and colleagues.
