Solution Architect

Assignment Overview:

A senior-level Solution Architect is sought for an initiative focused on digital transformation within supply chain planning, specifically using the Maestro (Kinaxis RapidResponse) platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kinaxis and a strong understanding of order fulfillment processes within complex digital ecosystems.

Expertise Required:

• In-depth knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse and Maestro, particularly related to Order Fulfillment workflows.

Role Objective:

The primary responsibility is to shape and lead the architecture design for digital solutions related to supply chain planning and Maestro business applications. The role includes aligning architecture decisions with strategic frameworks and ensuring technology choices are consistent across teams and systems.

This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including tech leads and enterprise architects, to ensure architectural consistency, compliance with security standards, and realization of business value. The architect also plays a key role in solution planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect digital products and applications for supply chain planning, incorporating systems, services, and infrastructure, and mapping the relationships among them.
• Assess the current technology landscape and specific organizational requirements to inform design decisions.
• Create and maintain technical integration solutions using approved methodologies, platforms, and tools.
• Design application architectures that support reuse, scalability, and modern engineering principles aligned with strategic architecture guidelines.
• Ensure the application of standardized platforms, tools, and technologies across initiatives.
• Align all architecture efforts with internal security policies and external information security demands.
• Translate business objectives into architectural frameworks and relevant documentation.
• Define both functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Develop solution prototypes and assist in evaluating new technologies.
• Guarantee adherence to core architecture principles and contribute to the organization’s target architecture.
• Engage in enterprise-level architecture discussions, supporting coherence between technical, business, and information strategies.
• Collaborate throughout various stages of business capability planning, producing the documentation needed to link business needs with digital solutions.
